Prayers for Shamus tonight please

I opened the door, and there was our golden retriever, Shamus, curled up with a football. Unfortunately, later this evening, Shamus got bit in the nose by a rattlesnake. He is being seen right now by a vet in Pecos, New Mexico.

This is Shamus, our golden retriever. His favorite thing in the world is for a human to pick up a flat rock and throw it as far as possible. Shamus tears out after the rock with every fiber of his being, then comes back to ask the nice human to do it again, and again, and....
