As ISIS fled, they beheaded their sex slaves

The Clarion Project reports today,
In a final act of depravity, fleeing ISIS beheaded 50 Yazidi sex slaves, dumping their heads into trash bins for coalition soldiers to find.

ISIS fighters were besieged in their last stronghold – a small area in Baghuz located in eastern Syria. One hundred ISIS jihadis were killed in the final battle in which British Special Forces (SAS) fired 600 mortar bombs and tens of thousands of machine-gun rounds against the terror group.

Speaking to The Mail on Sunday, a source said:

“In their hour of defeat, the jihadis’ cruelty knew no bounds. They conducted a cowardly slaughter of these desperately unfortunate women as a final act of depravity and left their severed heads behind for us to find. The motivation for such a sickening act is beyond comprehension for any remotely normal human being.

“None of the SAS troops who entered Baghuz will forget what they saw, which some soldiers likened to a scene from the film Apocalypse Now. Their only solace is that they have contributed to bringing Islamic State’s reign of terror to an end.”

Surviving ISIS fighters tried to escape by going underground to a system of tunnels they constructed under the town. However, SAS mortar teams and U.S.-French artillery units pounded the openings of the tunnels which were located by drones.

About 200 jihadis still hold an area of about one-fifth of a square mile outside Baghuz where intelligence sources say an equal number of civilian hostages are held. The terror group once controlled 34,000 square miles of territory between western Syria and eastern Iraq, which they called their “caliphate” and ruled over close to 8 million people according to brutal sharia law.

In 2014, when ISIS roared into Iraq, close to 3,000 women, teenage girls and young boys were abducted by the group. The hostages were Yazidis, Christians, Turkomen and Shabak – all minority groups in Iraq. The women and girls were turned into sex slaves and the boys were recruited as the next generation of jihadis. During the takeover operations, ISIS simply slaughtered the men and teenage boys.

Feminist insanity

Ms. Magazine tweeted this:

While ISIS endorses rape, American college administrations similarly facilitate the rape of women on campuses http://bit.ly/1ljgsdB

David French writes at The Corner,
Not only is this tweet hysterical on its face, take note of its target — liberal college administrators who are even now systematically violating the law to crack down on a fake crisis. They have stripped the burden of proof for sexual misconduct (including misconduct that would violate criminal law) down to a bare “preponderance of the evidence” standard and denied accused students the due process they’d receive even in civil — much less criminal — court. Some schools have even functionally reversed the burden of proof by imposing new “affirmative consent” standards that essentially create a presumption of guilt.

The tweet, however, is no crazier than the linked article:

ISIS’ treatment of Yazidi women as sexual slaves may seem far removed from fraternity or athletic team members’ treatment of women as sexual objects for conquest, however the results are distressingly similar. As tempting as it is to deny the parallels, we must acknowledge that institutionalized rape exists throughout the world and in the face of legal prohibitions. Recognition will help identify and eliminate the behaviors within our own culture.

ISIS’ sexual enslavement of the Yazidi population is abhorrent and must be addressed. Propagating the idea that “they” commit atrocities while implying that “we” are innocent of condoning sexual assault does not help us understand and effectively act to end sexual violence against women and girls everywhere.

No, the results are not “distressingly similar.” Here’s a Yazidi woman describing her sexual slavery:

At first, she tried to prevent [her "owner" from] raping her but when the Turkmen beat her one-year-old son in front of her, she was forced to stop resisting.

’I agreed to everything that this man wanted for the sake of my son,’ she said clutching her adorable infant child a little bit tighter.

And when she questioned his beliefs, he screamed at her and said that the sexual trade in Yazidi women is permitted ‘according to Islam’ . . . After 10 months of constant abuse and cruelty, she became despondent and numb and let him rape her ‘whenever he wanted’. But she refused to commit suicide because she feared what would happen to her child.

She was later moved to the house of another ISIS fighter in Mosul, Iraq, before being sold for a third time to a Libyan man in the Islamic State’s adopted capital of Raqqa, Syria.

She lived there for around 20 days, in a house with two other Yazidi girls, one aged 22, the other only 15, before an elderly mother and her five-year-old daughter moved in too.

It was here that she saw something so sickening, it convinced her that she had to risk it all and try to flee.

He came into the home and pointed at the mother and her daughter, she recalled.

He then brought them into a room and raped the mother before molesting the daughter.

Yep, that’s basically Yale, right? These people are losing their minds.

The women of ISIS

Phyllis Chesler asks at Fox News,
Why would any woman who lives in a free society in the West choose to live under ISIS’s barbaric tyranny? Doesn’t she know that Syrian and Iraqi women (Muslims, Christians, Yazidis, Kurds) are desperate to flee the region, that they fear being captured, forcibly married, forcibly converted to Islam—or tortured as sex slaves?

The (Washington) Post’s series reminds us that not all women are treated the same way under the men in charge of ISIS. -- There are wives and then there are literally sex slaves.

Tragically, we already know the fate of the lucky “wives.” They lead isolated lives spent mostly indoors without electricity or clean water. They wear heavy head-face-and-body covering in 100 degree weather--and they are monitored, harassed, and punished by a sadistic all-female brigade if their burqa slips. According to the Post they join “an institutionalized, near-assembly-line system to provide fighters with sex and children. When their (arranged marriage) husbands are killed, they are expected to celebrate their ‘martyrdom’ and quickly marry other fighters.”

Nabiha, 42, and her daughter Rudeina, 17, walk through the Azraq camp for Syrian refugees in northern Jordan. Islamic State militants demand a steady supply of wives to provide sex and children, so local women and girls live in constant fear of forced marriages, abductions and even sex slavery. (from the Washington Post series)

The sex slaves are not even this “lucky.” The mainly Yazidi and Christian girls and women who are forced into sex slavery are raped up to thirty times a day by different men. They are forced to perform pornography-inspired acts which terrify and injure them. As members of a shame-and-honor tribal culture, most believe that they no longer deserve to live. Many attempt suicide; some succeed. Many are sold, over and over again—and trafficked to Saudi Arabia or Northern Africa.

Why are feminists not rescuing ISIS’s sex slaves or at least buying their freedom, one by one, which is one of the things that my good Christian colleagues, Sister Hatune and Hans Erling Jensen at the Hatune Dogan Foundation have done?

Why are so many Western feminists still obsessed with criticizing America first, Israel second -- and ISIS only in a whisper?

All in a days work for ISIS: chemical weapons, rape, sex slaves

What's going on with ISIS? Bridget Johnson reports at PJ Media,
The Islamic State was confirmed to have used chemical weapons against Kurds this week.

...Last month ISIS attacked Peshmerga with agents “consistent with a chlorine chemical” — Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s chemical weapon of choice after the Obama administration claimed they successfully liquidated the dictator’s stockpile.

The New York Times reported then that ISIS was manufacturing tainted shells with “toxic industrial or agricultural chemicals repurposed as weapons.”

In May, the Organisation for the Prohibition and Chemical Weapons inspectors found traces of sarin and VX nerve agent at a military research site in Syria that was not declared as a chemical weapons storage or production facility.

Meanwhile, Rick Moran reports at PJ Media,
Just when you think the Islamic State can’t do anything that would outrage civilized humanity any more than we already are, along comes this story in the New York Times that goes into excruciating detail about how rape is being used to recruit ISIS members and the twisted justification for it that ISIS says comes directly from the Koran.

The report also details how the sex-slave market works — its bureaucracy, its logistics, and its organization.

ISIS executes 19 women

Cassy Fiano reports at Right Wing News,
ISIS fanatics have executed 19 women for refusing to have sex with its fighters, a Kurdish official has said.

He claimed the women were being held hostage in Islamic State’s stronghold of Mosul, Iraq, which the terror group seized in June last year.

Meanwhile a UN envoy investigating Islamic State’s vile sex trade has said ‘girls get peddled like barrels of petrol’ and one can be bought by six different men.

She also verified a disturbing ISIS document which suggested the extremists sell the Yazidi and Christian women and children they have abducted, with girls aged just one to nine-years-old fetching the most money.

ISIS stormed the Sinjar district in northern Iraq last year and captured hundreds of women belonging to the Yazidi community, who the Islamists view as heretics.

The sex slaves who somehow escaped Islamic State’s clutches have told of how they were forced to marry fighters who physically and sexually abused them.

It is not known whether the 19 women executed – supposedly just a few days ago – were Yazidis or not.

They were put to death because they refused to ‘participate in the practice of sexual jihad,’ a spokesman for the Kurdish Democratic Party in Mosul told Iraqi News.
