Colbert's audience is confused. They thought Comey was the bad guy who kept beloved Hillary from winning the election. That was then, this is now. Colbert mocks Trump, so then the audience understands that Comey must have been the good guy. It must all be very confusing to those who get their news from Stephen Colbert.

Trump says he planned to fire Comey before he met with Rosenstein

Lester Holt's lack of respect for our president just screams out at me as I watch this interview. I cannot imagine him ever talking to Barack Obama like he does here to Trump. In fact, where was he during all the scandals of the Obama preesidency?

Trump takes full responsibility for the decision to fire Comey. Ace writes,
