From the first hour of today's Rush Limbaugh Show. "The Democratic Party has lost their entire moral foundation! This is what happens when you become consumed with hatred. It destroys you. Hatred can never make you happy.

I am inundated with so much love and support...more than I ever knew!"

Trump calls at 9 a.m. Tuesday on the day Rush is due to meet with doctors to set up the treatment schedule. Rush and his wife have traveled to another city to a motel when the call comes in. "Rush, what's your doctor's name? I want to call him to reschedule you. I need you down here today." So, Rush and Kathyrn discuss what to do. All they had was casual clothes. Kathyrn insisted, "You can't not do this (invitation by the president)!" Trump did not tell him he would be given the medal of freedom Tuesday night...Rush thought it was going to happen in a couple of weeks.

To Donald Trump, Rush said, "There simply is nothing you can't do! There is not a single obstacle that can't be dealt with! It was what he wanted, not for him, but for me. He wasn't going to let me talk myself out of it." They kept their noon appointment with a doctor. A couple hours later they returned to their hotel room where Kathryn had arranged to have several retailers bring some clothes for them both to try on.

President Trump explained the Presidential Medal of Freedom to me and Kathryn in the White House. I just wasn't sure I deserved it. I am a radio talk show host!

Rush Limbaugh: "I’m honored as I can be by it.”

Right Scoop has a video of TMZ interviewing Rush Limbaugh as he and Mrs. Limbaugh left the State of the Union.

When asked how he feels about getting the Medal of Freedom, Rush replied “I’m in a state of disbelief! I’m honored as I can be by it.”

Rush said he’s doing great, adding “who could not be doing great on a night like this.”

When asked if it was everything he thought, Rush said “Oh I didn’t think – that’s the thing, I’m still in a state of disbelief about it.”

“But I’m accepting it!”, Limbaugh added, “I’ll take it!”

Rush Limbaugh writes this about the Republican establishment:

Trump is doing pretty much everything these people say they believe in, and yet they still hate his guts. I said, so what explains that?

This guy’s done more for conservatism in terms of policy implementation and action than any of them ever dreamed possible. To most of these intellectual eggheads, conservatism, sadly, has become an academic exercise. They sit around and talk about it all the time. They sit around and theorize about it all the time, while asking their donors to give them more money so they can keep writing and thinking or publishing their magazines that couldn’t make it in the free market.

But it all adds up to the fact they think they are superior human beings and they simply cannot bring themselves to lower themselves to the barbaric behavioral level of Donald Trump. Even though everything they have claimed or much of everything they’ve claimed to be devoted to policy-wise is being implemented or is closer to being implemented than they ever dreamed would be possible.

...Trump’s brilliant. He knows who he’s dealing with and how to reach them. And if you’re dealing with lunatics and if you’re dealing with the insane, throw it back at ’em. You know, throw a little unpredictability and lunaticism back at them. And it discombobulates ’em — and in fact it is. Kim Jong-un is confused. Kim Jong-un doesn’t know how to deal with Trump. He’s actually calling Washington liberals asking for help in translating, understanding Trump. Not recently, but he did.

The Roy Moore Soap Opera Is Really About McConnell vs. Bannon.

...Well, whether Judge Moore did the deed or deeds or not, what’s really happening here, folks, if you really want to know — I mean, it’s a multifaceted search-and-destroy mission here, but what’s really driving this — do not doubt me on this — what’s really driving this is Mitch McConnell saying to Steve Bannon, “Really? You think you’re gonna get your guys elected? You think you’re gonna get your guys elected and me kicked outta here? Really? Seriously? Okay, watch this.”

Don’t forget that Judge Moore, Trump did not endorse him, but Steve Bannon, I don’t know, enforced, chose, got behind, supports, what have you, and Bannon has been very up front about the objective he has, and that is to get Mitch McConnell out of the Senate. Even if all we had was one allegation against Judge Moore, this was gonna be it for Judge Moore, didn’t matter, because this is now being used to send a message to Bannon and his group that you think you’re gonna get rid of me, well, take a look at what’s gonna happen every time you try.

...I’m gonna tell you something, folks. I’m getting weary showing up here and my first objective or first responsibility being to defend people. I’m just tired of it! And that’s what largely much of conservative media has always been ’cause the left is constantly on the march, and every day they’re attacking somebody else or some issue or something that does require defense, because we’re all in the arena of ideas. We’re trying to prevent the perversion of the minds of our country. We’re trying to prevent the pollution of the minds of our country.

McConnell may look like a turtle, he may talk like a turtle, he may walk like a turtle, but the guy is not the turtle. He’s the scorpion, and you are seeing the McConnell scorpion sting right now. And if it weren’t Roy Moore, it would be somebody else that Bannon had chosen to support who had become a Republican candidate with the objective being to get rid of Mitch.



...See, this is the thing about this story that, without even commenting on Moore’s guilt or innocence, it’s so obvious what’s happening here. It’s just patently obvious. They don’t want this guy in Washington. Nobody wants this guy elected anywhere near either political party. The establishment doesn’t. To hell with what the people of Alabama have done voting-wise. To hell with what the voters of Alabama want to happen, that it doesn’t matter. The parties do not want this guy anywhere near.

...This is a microcosm of what they’re trying to do to Trump. They’re essentially trying to say Trump is not fit, Trump is not worthy, Trump is not justified. There’s a coup that’s been underway to essentially disregard the duly constituted presidential election of 2016.

“Senate GOP Campaign Chair Says Roy Moore Should Be Expelled If He Wins.” This is Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado. He’s chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. ...What that means is that the Republicans will kick Moore out if he wins. But don’t talk about it, because that might just make more people vote for him, so they’re trying to keep this quiet. I’m kind of blowing that to smithereens by announcing their intentions here. They are worried about blowback, not because there’s so much support for Moore, but because there is so much anger at the Republican establishment right now that denying them what they want is a significant motivator for Republican voters.

If the Alabama Republican Party formally pulls its support by filing papers, “We no longer as a party support Judge Moore,” then if he wins, the victory is null and void. Did you know that? Well, it is. Merrill further stated that if that happens and Moore receives the most votes, quote, “Our election would be declared null and void and Governor Ivey would have to call another special election, and we would start the process all over again.”

And, of course, what does this mean? It means, so what, the will of the people, so what, what the voters say. Votes don’t matter to us. If we don’t like the guy and we formally renounce our support, the votes don’t matter. These are Republicans. So no matter what the real stories are here and no matter what the evidence is, these guys, these people on the Republican side are making it clear they’re going to prevent this guy from ever being seated in the United States Senate.
Did you know that before 1992 when a lot of this was going on that Judge Moore was a Democrat? You didn’t know that? How about all these people now saying, “Oh, yeah, yeah, everybody here knew about Judge Moore. Oh-ho-ho, yeah, good old boy we’ve known about Judge Moore for a long time.” While he was a Democrat. Nobody said a word. When he supposedly was attracted to inappropriately aged girls, he was a Democrat. For what it’s worth.



...Well, this has long been, if not an actual voiced philosophy of the Republican Party, it’s often been the way that they’ve operated. The Republican Party has always been the party of announced and vocalized family values, and all it takes is one minister to have an affair and there goes the whole idea of family values. It busts it up for the whole party. Jimmy Swaggart out there (imitating Swaggart), “I have sinned before you.” And that’s it for the Republican Party.

No more moral authority to go after reprobates like Weinstein and the rest of them on the Democrat side, so the Democrats get away with it ’cause Democrats never tell people they care about family values. ‘Cause they don’t, unless you redefine what a family is. You can choose your sex, you can choose your family, you can choose your borders, you can choose whatever.

But you see the Democrats are being highlighted, not so much elected Democrats, although Bob Menendez has the same charges against him as a Democrat, and he actually is on trial, and you can’t find a word about it in the Drive-By Media.

the Democrats and the media have so stoked this story that their base believes it. And the Democrats on this committee and the Democrats in the Senate, the Democrats everywhere, are literally scared to death of the day when it will be officially announced that there was no collusion, when this Comey investigation ends and they can’t prove any collusion between Trump and the Russians.

They are scared to death of that day, of what their base is gonna do.

They need their base continuing to donate money. They need their base continuing to remain engaged, and they have used this story — that Trump colluded with the Russians to steal the election. They have used this story to excuse the fact that they lost. They have used this story to excuse the fact that they had a lousy candidate, to excuse the fact that she ran a lousy campaign, to excuse the fact that she’s very unlikable, to excuse the fact that they were so arrogant and condescending in assuming they were gonna win that they didn’t even really make a serious effort.

...Again, I want to remind everybody — the truth of this has not been mentioned yet — Podesta was not hacked. Podesta fell for a phishing scam. Now, you might, on a loose definition, call it a hack. But it’s not a hack in the sense that you and I think of hacks. Nobody got into Podesta’s computer. He let them in. He invited them in, unknowingly. Russia did not deal directly with WikiLeaks, Comey said. They had a cut-out, which is an intermediary. Well, who was that? WikiLeaks has insisted that they didn’t get anything from Russia, that Russia was not their source, and Comey confirmed that today.

...But I’d like to know: Who initiated the FBI’s investigation of Trump?

We’ve been hearing all along that there is one. Who initiated that, and why? When did it begin? Any Obama holdovers involved in this? Any Obama embeds in the bureaucracy involved in this? What about Clinton campaign members meeting with Russians? Is any of that being investigated? We know that a lot of people that work for the Democrats met with Russians. We know that Bill Clinton worked with a guy in Canada to basically give — well, sell to the point where the Clintons profited — a great portion of the U.S. uranium supply.
What about coordination between CNN and Hillary Clinton? What about the Democrat National Committee rigging their primary against Bernie Sanders? Is there any investigation of that? What about the investigation of the Clinton Foundation? We’re told that there was one. Well, we don’t know; nobody’s officially said so. Influence peddling to foreign countries? Obama’s ransom payments to Iran?

...There hasn’t been one, not one indication of Trump going soft on Russia, not one. Nikki Haley at the U.N. speaks out against Russia in no uncertain terms.

...The big news of these hearings is not even being reported! The big news of these hearings is that the Russians did not, could not, would not, have not, don’t know how to tamper with votes. They didn’t do it. I mean, there wasn’t even any hemming or hawing in the answers. Both Comey and Admiral Rogers definitively said in one-word answers “no” to all kinds of questions about whether or not the Russians had anything to do with votes, either the way they were cast or the way they were counted. Nope, nope, nope, nope. We even know that this Jill Stein babe, the Democrat, the Green Party candidate, whatever, she did this recount, Trump ended up getting more votes in some of these states than what he ended up with in the official count.

There is no evidence. That, to me, is the news of these hearings. But that’s not what’s being reported. That’s in fact being ignored. So if you’re Trump and you’re working with the Russians anyway, even though there’s no way to sabotage the vote, wouldn’t you go out of your way in public to scorch Putin every chance you got, scorch the Russians, instead of talking about how much you admire Putin, what a great guy Putin is, and how much you appreciate Putin complimenting you, which Trump did?

...But again, all of this, see, this is the frustrating thing, folks. The big news of the day is, no evidence whatsoever that the Russians hacked voting. No evidence whatsoever. It’s not possible. They’re not investigating whether any of that happened. It just didn’t because it couldn’t. Obama has said so. Any number of people before all this heated up the way it is said so. But that’s not the news. Because the purpose of all of this is to permanently damage Donald Trump and make it impossible for him to govern.

That’s all this is about. There’s a secondary aspect of it with the Democrats on the committee having to service their lunatic base, which has been led to believe that Russia did hack the election and that Trump was part of it. That story has been around for so long, it’s been added to for so long and it’s been amplified, they believe it now. The expectations have been raised to the point here that the truth, the Democrats are scared to death of the day their base learns that none of this happened.

The media’s gonna try as hard as they can not to let go of this, because now they’ve got their scalp. They think they have blood in the water, they’ve got a scalp and they think they can get another and then another and then another and then another until finally they get Trump.

...Eight years of the Obama administration, it may not have appeared to be chaotic and it may not have appeared to be amateur hour and it may not have appeared to be out of control, but it was in terms of its agenda. The Obama administration was trying to dismantle the United States of America. That’s why everybody voted for Trump! And the people that supported Obama and were trying to dismantle the United States of America are still out trying to do it and now doing so via taking aim at Trump and his administration.

...Now, the media is saying that Flynn’s conversation with the Russian ambassador back in December could have left him open to blackmail. Are we serious about this? Flynn was open to blackmail? Who was it that the Drive-Bys wanted to see as president in? That would be Hillary Rodham Clinton, who could have been blackmailed six ways from Sunday by the Russians and who the heck else we know.

We don’t know what top national security secrets were revealed in those 34,000 emails. This is a woman whose home brew server was hacked by world powers, the ChiComs, the Russians. This is a woman who, with her famous Russian reset, embarrassed the United States of America.

Blackmail?

Here’s Hillary Clinton who had collected campaign contributions supposed in advance that were nothing more than advance payments for policy considerations. She was selling access to the Oval Office via the Clinton administration. You want to talk about blackmail? You are worried about blackmail and Michael Flynn and Donald Trump when you were going to have Hillary Clinton in the White House if you had your way?

It was going to happen, just like the protests that magically and immediately sprang up after Trump announced his executive order. This is who the left is. This is what you voted against. This is what you wanted no more of, this behavior. Not by Trump, not by Flynn. What you voted against — the reason you voted for Trump — is exactly what you’re seeing day to day now from the left and from the Democrat Party and from the media.

Rush: "He’s gonna have to get up to speed"

At WND Joe Kovacs reports that Rush Limbaugh

unleashed on the commander in chief Tuesday for what he called a “serious” problem, keeping numerous officials from former President Obama’s era in his own administration.

Monday night, Trump fired Acting Attorney General Sally Yates for defiantly refusing to defend his executive order closing U.S. borders to refugees and people from predominantly Muslim countries.

“She should not have been there in the first place, and it’s not the fault of the Senate for not confirming [Sen. Jeff] Sessions already [as attorney general]. And it’s not the fault of anybody but Donald Trump,” Limbaugh said on his national broadcast.

“Donald Trump is singularly responsible for this woman being there. She should have been let go on Day One with every Obama appointee.”

Limbaugh wondered aloud when those on the political right were going to learn how those on the left are in full attack mode all the time.

“They do not believe in the kind of civility that we believe in. The left is simply a bunch of mean-spirited extremist bullies who are not interested in cooperating, working together, being civil or any of that. Sally Yates and every other Obama appointee should have been gone within 30 minutes of Trump taking the oath of office. That is his fault for not doing so.”

Limbaugh said he wasn’t sure why Trump kept Yates on for 10 days into his administration, but he theorized that it’s because Trump is “not ideological.”

“He’s gonna have to get up to speed on it,” said Limbaugh. “It’s not enough to know that he faces opposition. I’m sure he knows that. I’m sure his eyes are being opened each and every day. I’m sure he’s seeing a side of these people that he used to think were his friends. But until he is able to get up to speed and understand that he is fighting liberalism, socialism, extremism bordering on near communism, he’s not gonna understand what he’s up against.”

And Machiavelli didn’t theorize, he stated that the prince is much better served by putting opponents, people who opposed him in positions of power because they must, in order to secure and save and operate in those positions of power with approval, they must perform by action their duties in unquestioned loyalty to the prince. Whereas if the prince goes out and finds the people who were his most vocal supporters from the get-go and puts them in positions of power, the odds are they’re never going to be happy because they’re always going to think they should have had more.

Rush Limbaugh just celebrated his 28th anniversary on the radio. He thought about doing something else, but IHeartMedia persuaded him to stay on for four more years, and Rush is excited about it, especially if Russia decides to share Hillary's emails.

Rush Limbaugh analyzes media reaction to Trump

Rush Limbaugh is so good at analyzing what is going on. Today he had this to say about Donald Trump and media coverage of him.

If Trump were any other Republican, they would have practically destroyed him by now and they'd be worried about rehabbing Hillary's image and building her up. But she's so unexciting, she's so dull, she's so scandal ridden, they've got nothing to work with. All they can do is try to destroy Trump, but they don't know how. Because they didn't make Trump, they can't destroy Trump.

...The upshot of this is Trump's constant access to media and Trump's unpredictability is frustrating Hillary and the Drive-Bys' capacity to shape and control the narrative.

They are unable to write the daily soap opera script as they have become accustomed to being able to do. They're unable to do it because Trump is so unpredictable. They'll write a script, they'll write a narrative for the day and Trump will go out and do an appearance and blow it to smithereens, at the same time blowing their plans. Then Hillary is frustrating, 'cause there's nothing to cover. All there is with Hillary is emails and shady financial dealings and Mao pantsuits and basic incompetence and boredom and a total lack of excitement.

So there's no way that they can write a narrative every day that destroys Trump and builds up Hillary because... See, the first mistake in the New York Times is worrying about granting Trump access. They're not "granting" Trump access. Trump is commanding access. Trump is taking access. Trump is dictating the daily narrative, as this press conference today on his donations to the vets and to various groups illustrate.

...They make some factual misrepresentations that Trump is lying about all the money he's raised for the vets. They claim that Trump claims he's raised $6 million or whatever it is and they go out and they're doing what they can to try to convince people that Trump's lying about it, that he hasn't raised that much -- and, even worse, that if he has raised that much, he hasn't passed it on. He's holding on to it. He hasn't donated it all. All of these insinuations and allegations were the Washington Post piece.

And Trump felt the need to correct the record today and did so in his own inimitable way, which basically attacked the media for dishonesty and corruption. And the thing is he stood there for, what, 45 minutes? I mean, he didn't hide, didn't run away from it, answered every question. He just took them on. They have no complaint. They can never say Trump avoids them. They can never say Trump does this or that to try to evade any kind of scrutiny, even though he got that question about scrutiny.

But the New York Times... This is actually kind of funny, I think, because they're worried that Trump's constant access to the media and his unpredictability is frustrating Hillary. Hillary doesn't know how to deal with this. Hillary doesn't know how to counterprogram Trump, if you will. Hillary doesn't know how to go out and write her own narrative of the day. Hillary doesn't know whether to focus on herself or to criticize Trump or to go after Crazy Bernie. She doesn't know what to do. And the press doesn't, either.

"It's not fair! It's not fair! We can't control the media 'cause of Trump." The problem is -- and they don't want to say this, but the problem is -- that Trump, no matter what anybody thinks of him, is interesting. And Trump, no matter what anybody thinks of him, is funny. Trump, no matter what anybody thinks of him, is different. Trump, no matter what anybody thinks of him, is drama. Trump, no matter what anybody thinks of him, is unpredictable. All of that means, you can't miss it.

You can't roll the dice and not cover it, hoping that it isn't anything. You have to be there, as the media, and you have to hope that he's gonna attack you as the media. But Hillary, on the other hand? Dull, totally colorless, mistake prone, scandal ridden, because Hillary doesn't have any natural talents. Hillary doesn't have any natural connection to people. Hillary doesn't have any charisma, magnetism. All of that has to be manufactured by the media.

Hillary needs to be hyper-scripted while, at the same time, have limited availability in a campaign that's about spontaneity and entertainment. This has become a pop culture campaign. Like it or not, that's what it is. And that's why so many in the political world are having trouble understanding it, dealing with it, being involved with it, defining it, what have you. But Hillary Clinton has this problem. The more she's seen, the more she's heard, the worse she does. This is not arguable.

Here you have a guy who's nothing more than a candidate right now, and the New York Times, over the weekend -- the Memorial Day weekend -- with a story: "Rise of Donald Trump Tracks Growing Debate Over Global Fascism." Never mind that both Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton's positions are far more in line with the German National Socialism approach than Trump could even dream of being.

Forget, you know, that the Nazis were National Socialists. National Socialists! I mean, we're closer to having that currently in the White House than anywhere on the campaign trail right now on the Republican side. And now we find out that Hillary Clinton's campaign set up this veterans against Trump protest to begin with. We find this out after the fact. The media could have found out before it happened, but, no, no, no, no!
