Raylyn Terrell, pictured above, writes that "we need a tidal wave, and I’m just one cup.” She spent much time in prayer, phone calls and email communication with legislators and with the Governor’s office in Virginia, where a law was passed which
prevents any agency, political subdivision, employee, or member of the military of Virginia from assisting an agency of the armed forces of the United States in the conduct of the investigation, prosecution, or detention of a United States citizen in violation of the United States Constitution, Constitution of Virginia, or any Virginia law or regulation..
The Virginia law was passed after Congress passed the National Defense Authorization Act. Sections 1021 and 1022 of the Act give the President the power to detain American citizens indefinitely.
