They don't all hate us!

I don't read much favorable about California anymore. So let me tell you about a 2 on 2 basketball game my son Jon and I had with a father and son from Berkeley yesterday in Santa Fe. The Californians were as nice as they could be. They were on a vacation trip of the west. You could tell they were enjoying themselves immensely because they had such good attitudes. No one kept score, but it was a very closely fought game. I made one feeble attempt to engage them about life in California, telling them I have heard that large numbers of people are leaving California. The man responded, "You wouldn't know it from the freeway traffic!"
