He debates leftist Helen Lewis, who says the United States was founded on
identity politics. Jordan says the United States was not founded on identity
politics. It was founded on the idea that all people have divine value.
Jordan
notes that academia is dominated by the left. They are destroying the social
sciences and humanities.
Not power? How about Putin? How about Xi Jinping? Helen
believes that the rise of strong men authoritarians around the world is very
worrisome. Jordan agrees, but he believes the way people rise is because of
their competency. How about the leaders of North Korea and Iran?
Jordan comes
across to me as very defensive, probably because he has been unfairly attacked
as being a person who approves of male-dominated patriarchy. Also many other
unfair attacks. He detests the radical left, and believes that he has
"innumerable highly motivated enemies."
