A day-before-Father's-Day surprise came from my sister, who I had not seen in a few years. She and her husband visited us yesterday. She had put together a wonderful photo album for me, with many (black and white) photos of our extended family. I will cherish this gift.

Yes you will. A few years ago, my mom put together photo journals of our family which with divorced parents is particularly moving. Then my dad put all the old movies on DVD, equally touching.
What a great Father's Day gift! You have a good sister to take the time to do that. (Sorting and making a photo album is hard work!)
