The Tortoise and the Hare
Victor Davis Hansen is comparing McCain to the tortoise and Obama to the Hare. McCain plods along, but is beginning to endorse positions that are popular with the Republican base. Obama dashes here and there, but now seems to be backtracking a lot on previously announced far left plans for his presidency. The question, Hansen notes, is how far along in the race are they? Does McCain have a chance to catch up and pass Obama?

Heaven help me for saying this but I almost don't care. I've decided to care on voting day and tune it out until then.
