Sarah Palin, whose Wasilla Bible Church was burned by arsonists, will not accept a pay raise recommended by a state compensation commission. She did not believe it would be appropriate to accept a pay raise in the middle of her term in office. Her first term ends in 2010.
Illinois has a governor, too. He is someone Barack Obama used to know quite well, but no longer.
