What The People Say Does Not Matter To These Four

Today four judges in California decided that a vote of the people of California (60 to 40 percent) was not as important as what these four judges believe. Now, in California and Massachusets, two people of the same gender can marry.

I didn't see an email address for you, but I wanted to let you know I responded to your comment on my blog about Huckabee. I've done numerous comprehensive posts on him. This one is the most comprehensive with tons of links:

And within that post the best article is the "Open Letter from an Arkansas Evangelical" that I have at the bottom in blue. IMHO, I don't know how anyone in good conscience could vote for him after reading that article.

The California ruling was judicial activism at its finest. It shouldn't be surprising but I couldn't believe it when I heard it today.

What bothers me most of all is that I feel strongly the activists don't intend to stop here. I believe their ultimate gosl is force churches to marry them. They live for in-your-face moments. Makes it very difficult to suport them in any way. And we won't even start on the judges.

am deeply concerned about this and the door it leaves open for other even more outrageous demands for marriage...like group marriage and on and on...

The Anchoress has a good post about what the churches response might be -lots of good links too.
