This blog is looking for wisdom, to have and to share. It is also looking for other rare character traits like good humor, courage, and honor. It is not an easy road, because all of us fall short. But God is love, forgiveness and grace. Those who believe in Him and repent of their sins have the promise of His Holy Spirit to guide us and show us the Way.

Actions Speak Louder than Words
Someone pointed out that many of the judges on the California Supreme Court got there because they were appointed by Republicans. Also, of the two most liberal U.S. Supreme Court Justices, Judge John Paul Stevens was appointed by Gerald Ford, and David Suter was appointed by the elder Bush. All the more reason to distrust John McCain, when he says he would appoint people in the Alito/Roberts mold. Since he sides with liberal Democrats on most issues, why should we believe his appointment of judges would displease Democrats?

Excellent point, Bob!
He has broken his word before.
For example, he said he understood that most Americans want a secure border before working on guest worker programs, or talking about what to do with the 10-12 million illegals already here, then he agrees to speak to La Raza, and he has Juan Hernandez working for him.
He has also repeated Al Gore's mantra that the "debate is over" concerning global warming, or climate change as they call it now.
John McCain and the GOP has been moving left for years, and many conservatives have had enough, and are letting them know about it.
I'm not talking about extreme right wing radicals either.
I hope they choose to listen to common sense, and quit moving the party left.
