Delete!

The words, "I was a drum major for justice, peace, and righeousness" are being deleted from the Martin Luther King Memorial in Washington D.C. The words are from a sermon Dr. King preached less than two months before he was assassinated. The full context was,

"Yes, if you want to say that I was a drum major, say that I was a drum major for justice. Say that I was a drum major for peace. I was a drum major for righteousness. And all of the other shallow things will not matter."

Apparently Maya Angelo whined that the words were taken out of context and made him seem arrogant.
