Rush Limbaugh today gave his broadcast engineer full authority to play this snippet from Obama's Roanoke speech any time the engineer saw fit during today's broadcast. That is because from the day America elected Obama President, Rush has been at war. Democrats silence Republicans by shaming them with words like racist, trying to get them to be "fair-minded." Rush has not been having any of that, because he knows how the Chicago boys play. Democrats have their war room. Rush noted that while Obama took another executive act this week to gut welfare reform, by allowing for the work provision to be waived as a condition of getting benefits, The Washington Post and Politico both did hard-hitting investigations that revealed that Obama prefers "Thin Mint" Girl Scout cookies.

Update: John Podhoretz, writing in Commentary points out that there are 25 million Americans who run businesses with ten or less employees. "A man running for national office just said of their own businesses that they “didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” This statement is a colossal opportunity for Mitt Romney and will prove a suppurating wound for the president, who revealed a degree not only of condescension but of contempt for the very people who are going to decide this election.

And if there’s one thing people recognize, it’s when they are being viewed with contempt."
