Golden, Colorado is really beautiful this time of year. Guess which photo made me think of Robin Starfish? Clear Creek, famous from the gold rush years, roars and rolls right through the middle of Golden. This kayaker told me that he lives up in the mountains and doesn't know anyone who has email, so I couldn't send him a blurry (because I used the zoom feature?) photo of him fighting the rapids.

I haven't seen the Colorado River since I was a little tyke (age with one digit). I guess I'll have to go see it again some day.
