Do you bemoan the things you cannot do? Or, do you marvel at the things you can do? How patient are you with yourself? With others? If there is no patience, eventually there is no trying. No trying, no advancement in achievement. Persistence, kindness, love and warmth: that is what we have to give ourselves and others. That way every moment will bring new hope and new possibilities. Do you talk with your children about their abilities? Are you raising them with praise? Do you remind them how far they have come; what they couldn't do yesterday, but can do today? Do you celebrate their accomplishments? That gives them hope for continued growth.
