Loving unconditionally

Do you have people in your life who love you unconditionally? How do they show their support for you? Usually it is parents or spouses who give that kind of love, and, if we are really lucky, our children. It must be terrible for people like Barack Obama to have grown up without the love of his father, although his grandparents were there for him. Yet, he certainly seems to have found an awful lot of people who love him. Update: After I wrote the two paragraphs above, I read a few pages from The Kingdom Way by C. Wayne Stewart. He wrote about David, the writer of the Psalms. Stewart writes, "The amazing gift of David was his miraculous ability to always have an acute awareness of God's nearness and companionship." So, when talking about unconditional love, let's not forget the One who created us and loves us eternally!
