Panderers

The Iraq war spending bill passed yesterday. Senators Clinton and Obama voted against funding our troops, as they attempt to placate the alive and kickin' McGovern wing of the Democratic party. Not to be outdone in the quest for the support of the extreme left, former Senator John Edwards is urging people to "use" Memorial Day as an opportunity to express anti-war sentiments.

Forget John Edwards, read my post today and link to what I wrote previously about my dad, who was killed in Vietnam.

John Edwards and his crowd are a disgrace to America.

Breck Girl has tightened his own noose so many times that he is beyond done. He's a laughingstock but apparently he's the only one that can't see that.

But not to worry. Fred Thompson will announce any day and Dems and Pubs alike will run for cover.

James Taranto at WSJ has an interesting angle today:

"The voters who have switched sides, by contrast, have done so because they don't want America to lose. Right now, they think America is losing, and they blame President Bush. If the Democrats "succeed" in actually bringing about American defeat, our guess is that the voters will blame--not credit--them."

How low can one go? Why do we celebrate Memorial Day anyway? Certainly not to DIS-unify our nation!

Thanks for your sweet compliment on my blog!
