He didn't need the money

How about this man! Glen James lives in a homeless shelter in Boston. Recently he found a backpack containing $42,000. He immediately flagged down a police officer and gave the officer the bag. A little while later the police got a call from an employee in a Best Buy store, saying that a customer just told him he had lost his backpack, which contained "a lot of money." The owner of the bag was a Chinese student visiting a friend in Boston.

Mr. James suffers from Meniere's disease, which the Mayo Clinic describes as an inner ear disorder that causes episodes of vertigo.

He has been homeless since 2005. James said that he doesn't want to be a burden to his relatives and that people at the shelter help him. He said God has always looked after him. James gets food stamps and panhandles to make money to do laundry, to pay for transportation and buy other ‘odds and ends,’ he said.
