A former British Marine, who now lives in Kenya, has emerged as one of the heroes of the massacre. He had been having coffee in an outdoor cafe in the mall when the terrorists began their attack. Armed with a hand gun, the Marine went back into the mall at least a dozen times, escorting over one hundred victims to safety. His name and picture is being protected, but here is one photo, with his face obscured.
