George W. Bush raises money for Denver University

Last summer Denver University decided to host a fundraiser for the school. Their idea was to invite George W. Bush, and give him an award for Improving the Human Condition. Some faculty and students expressed unhappiness. After all, didn't Bush torture terrorists? So the school changed the name of the award to Global Service, in honor of Bush's work to combat malaria and AIDS in Africa.

That did not stop 100 protesters from showing up last night at the hotel in downtown Denver where Bush received his award and raised over $600,000 for Denver University. Nobody asked Bush any questions about Syria, because he said, "I don't like to talk about politics." The press was barred from attending the event.
