Government hiding its failures

She called him a "crybaby," and threatened to strangle him. Finally, she had enough, and suffocated him and buried her seven-month-old son in a trash pile.

That's not all. There is more to the story. The father and maternal grandmother say they made repeated calls to child protection workers to try to protect the baby.

Jordan Steffon reports in the Denver Post that

The Colorado Department of Human Services, which reviews the deaths of children who had contact with child-welfare services before their deaths, reviewed Torrey's death in July. As of Friday afternoon, it had not released its report.

July to March! I think that is enough time for Human "Services" to complete their review, don't you? Washington D.C. is not the only place where government agencies try to hide their failures from the public.

I have been noticing an increase in frustrated moms and dads at the store where I work.
