Surprise yourself!

Do you have certain events in your life that are sure to trigger strong emotions? Maybe a former lover who is still part of your life? Maybe being physically separated from your kids? Yeah, me, too! Being aware of those realities is a good first step toward solving the problem. Realizing your vulnerability, consciously take steps to protect your health. That is easier said than done. Would prayer help? If we place as much or more value on seeking God's will, as we do on whatever benefits we think we are getting by handling our emotions our way, we might be pleasantly surprised at what we discover!
