Allowing and encouraging a culture of sheepdogs

By our own government’s estimation, 82,500 crimes are stopped every year by citizens with guns. In the vast majority of these cases, no shots are fired. The mere presentation of the weapon stops the criminal.

The answer is not to turn more people into sheep for the wolves to slaughter, but to allow and encourage a culture of sheepdogs within our midst, with capabilities up to the task of taking on the whackjobs, not only cutting their rampages short when they start, but instilling in their and everyone’s minds that their plan is not likely to succeed anywhere. Because the likelihood of one or more “unmarked” sheepdogs in their midst will be too great.
