Romney and Elway rally the troops in Denver

My friend, Colonel Curt Dale, retired Vietnam combat veteran, had a big night last night. Along with other veterans, he was moved up to the front at the Romney rally in Denver last night. During Romney's speech, he sat right in front of John Elway, who introduced Romney to the crowd. Elway noted that these last two days had been great ones: first, his Broncos whipped up on the Oakland Raiders, and then, the next day, he gets to introduce the next President of the United States! I might add that Romney could not possibly find a better endorser in Colorado than John Elway!

Here is a paragraph from Curt's email to me from this morning. "
Actually, one of the greatest parts of the evening was meeting an
incredibly beautiful 90+ year old lady who sat just in front of me
then was moved up right behind me after she'd left to meet Mitt then
return. She was a WWII WAC (Women's Air Corps) pilot and flew B-26s..
They did ferry flights to deliver the planes all over . She is a tiny
little lady, literally petite, and so feminine. But when we talked
flying, she said, "That B-26 wasn't an airliner. If you didn't fly it
like a fighter, you didn't live to tell the story. She then told of
other airplanes." What a gal. She was there with her daughter. She'd
married a USAF Pilot after the war and raised a family.
