One in four high school graduates ready for college

The Associated Press reported findings from the ACT test, which showed that only 26 percent of high school graduates who took the ACT test were ready for college. Those 26 percent passed the ACT English, reading, math, and science requirements. 74% needed remedial help in at least one of those four areas before being able to do college work.
