It must be either global warming or God

People in a Chinese city are living in fear of the world's largest hornet. Here is a photo of one devouring a honey bee.

The photo was in The Guardian, which reports

over the past three months alone, hornets have killed 41 people and injured a further 1,675.
The Chinese have figured out a way to attack back. They realized that the hornets do not "fly around at night," so they send out groups to spray the nests with spray can flame-throwers, as in this photo from Reuters.

The head of the city's "propaganda department" blames God.

The Ankang government says it has removed 710 hives and sent 7m yuan (£707,000) to help affected areas. "We're doing everything we can, but there's only so much we can do," says Deng Xianghong, the deputy head of the Ankang propaganda department. "God has been unfair to us."
