Colorado Congressman Mike Coffman is up for re-election in a district that has been redrawn to make it more competitive between Republicans and Democrats. At a meeting out in the rural area where I live he was asked about Obama's place of birth. He answered that he did not know, but that he believed Obama was not American "in his heart." The Democrats tipped off the media, who have been all over the story. A Denver t.v. station caption it on-screen as "Coffman's birther moment."
