Who Gets To Define Womanhood, Blackness?

Sarah Palin is surely in for an intense barrage from the left over these next two months. QP links to a wonderful post by J. Robert Smith in the American Thinker. Here are two of my favorite paragraphs.
Palin's womanhood will also be questioned, because it is the left which is licensed to define womanhood, just as the left is permitted to define blackness. And make no mistake, feminism is a subsidiary of the left.

By the left's definition, a pro-life woman cannot be a woman. A woman who seeks a family-centered society, not a government-centered society, cannot be a woman. A woman who celebrates traditional American values, and not the secular values of Europeanized liberalism, cannot be a woman.

I think the mere circumstances of Governor Palin having five children and being anti abortion was enough to drive the left and the media bonkers, in an of itself.

Secondarily, Governor Palin represents the American dream. Given that media and left are committed to a belief that the American Dream is either partially or totally a myth, Governor Palin was additionally certain to drive them crazy.

Third, Governor Palin's being from the West - as opposed to the Ivy League and/or D.C. - obviously helped drive them bonkers. How DARE she be witty, and self-confident, and wear good shoes, and have all her teeth!?

I like her. I hope she will swung the election our way. I hope Biden doesn't prove to be a slippery eel but then she may have a lot of experience with slippery eels.

Trust me, Sarah will eat Biden for lunch! :)

The left is in panic mode, Bob. They are trying everything they can to discredit her but all they are doing is looking pathetic. It's backfiring on them big time! The more they continue the worse they look. It's wonderful! :)

This is a quote from a British paper;

“Mrs Palin is technically female, [LOL] but she’s enthusiastically married, hates abortion and thinks criminals should not be the only people allowed to own guns. She’s everything Hillary Clinton isn’t. In short, she’s the wrong kind of woman.”

Uh...technically a woman?????
