Dragonboat Races

Dragonboat races are becoming a popular annual affair in Denver. There are many Vietnamese people living in Denver. Many of them escaped Viet Nam in small boats, in hopes that they would find a country where liberty is still cherished. Instead, they came to America.
Some people in the crowd seemed more enthusiastic than others. I found their enthusiasm admirable, given that the temperature was over the 90 degree mark.

Considering Vietnam, this probably still is the land of liberty. Fading fast I admit. Beautiful boats. And hey 90 is nothing for us.
