This blog is looking for wisdom, to have and to share. It is also looking for other rare character traits like good humor, courage, and honor. It is not an easy road, because all of us fall short. But God is love, forgiveness and grace. Those who believe in Him and repent of their sins have the promise of His Holy Spirit to guide us and show us the Way.

I can't imagine what the whole experience for you was like. One of my closet friends were foster parents. They cared for a set of twin girls from 2 months to 3 years when the girls were returned to the now clean (supposedly) drugged parents. It was so hard for them. They quit after that.
To use your blog against you should be against the law, but it's been my experience such people care only about their power not about the children. It's a jaded cynical system.
Take heart only in this: years ago my mother tried to keep contact with a grand nephew and niece who were eventually adopted not without problems as you can imagine.
Years later all grown up, they both contacted her and told her how much that little bit she did meant to them.
The good you did will resonant. Trust in that my cyberspace freind. And know that my prayers go with you, your family and those little ones that were so briefly touched by your loving kindness to them.
And light blogging is perfectly understandable.
I just read Terri's comment and wonder what I am missing. Not sure what you and Colleen are going through, but it sounds very trying, Bob. Please let us know what's going on and what, if anything, we can do.
