Non-stop spin

From Oregon Muse's Morning Rant:
"I was listening to the NPR coverage of the arrest of Epstein on sex trafficking charges, and it was almost funny how their spin was such blatantly obvious attempt to tie him to Trump in any way they could. They made sure to point out how Trump called Epstein "a terrific guy" in 2002 and how Alexander Acosta, who is now Secretary of Labor in the Trump Administration, was involved in a sweetheart plea bargain deal that saved Epstein from serious consequences. NPR did NOT talk about Trump kicking Epstein out of his club in 2009 or that one of Epstein's victim’s lawyer mentioned said Trump was so much help that he didn’t even need to take a deposition from him. Nope, none of that was considered important enough to mention.

If this were a legal setting, NPR’s coverage would be called withholding exculpatory evidence, which is actually a crime. Oh, and of course Bill Clinton’s much stronger connection to Epstein, including multiple visits to his private island on the “Lolita Express” jet, was mentioned only in passing, and Epstein’s $25,000 donation to the Clinton foundation was mentioned not at all. No, the REAL issue was how Epstein could be connected to Trump. The MSM's obsession with digging up dirt, *any* dirt, on Trump has become so deranged that even if they produced an actual video of him strangling an underaged hooker, my first reaction would be to think that they were using faked footage. They seem to have absolutely no clue how all of their incessant OrangeManBad coverage is really damaging their credibility."
