We want other people's entitlements to be taken away, but not ours! There is no good principle by which you can steal money from one person and give it to another! However, without some social spending, people would probably not tolerate the inequality that comes with freedom!
Andrew defends Paul Ryan, who has fought to reduce entitlements and make the government smaller. Ben Shapiro made the point today that Paul Ryan gets blamed for things that should be heaped at the feet of Mitch McConnell. However, Andrew does criticize Ryan for being very "loosy-goosey" on illegal immigration.
Andrew wants the government to protect him from people who would restrain his freedom, attack him, hurt him, steal from him; but at the same time government has to not do those things itself! People have to be trained to respect freedom, to learn about great men and women who have stood on all sides with different arguments. Good people disagree!
Owen Benjamin is a comedian. Pedophiles and Antifa got him banned from Twitter. He is a guest on today's show. He also got hit by YouTube so his podcasts could no longer be watched. At Left-wing sites like Slate they call themselves "minor-attracted people." George Carlin said, "Political correctness is fascism disguised as politeness." He believes the political correctness censorship is exponentially worse now than even just a few years ago. They are saying trees are racist (associated with lynching)!
