Scott Adams: Trump Derangement Syndrome is a legitimate mental health issue! Those who are afflicted believed that there was no way this monster could be elected. Then, he was! That is a classic setup for cognitive dissonance! It is an emotionally painful experience for them. Scott's "persuasion filter" allows him to be as objective as possible (nobody is completely objective). People buy into illusions. Scott has lost 75% of his friends because of his respect for Trump's persuasive abilities. He saw the buzzsaw and chose to walk into it! He had thought it would be a good idea to provide some guidance to help people understand the Trump phenomena!
