"Total Eclipse Monday," no more racist horses, all in one family violence

It was "Total Eclipse Monday" with Mark Steyn subbing for Rush Limbaugh.

Someone asked Mark if Obamacare would cover retina damage from viewing the eclipse. Mark said no, but if you get retinal damage and you want to transition into being a woman and have longer eyelashes, Obamacare would cover that.

Trump tonight will tell us how we are going to win in Afghanistan, where 98% of the GDP is directly related to the NATO occupation, and the other 2% is from the worldwide export of heroin.

No more racist horses says the University of South Carolina, whose mascot is a white horse named Traveler, which is the same name as Robert E. Lee's horse, except his was spelled, Traveller. A caller from Idaho said Robert E. Lee's horse is a "grey," which starts life with a black or dark brown color, then gradually turns white.

Am I going to have to change my name from Robert to something else?

Mark wonders if Mitt Romney will ever get it. The Left demonized him like they are doing to Trump, yet Romney and Rubio were two who criticized Trump for condemning both sides in the Charlottesville violence.

Mark points out that Trump paid a hospital visit to Steve Scalise after a Bernie Sanders supporter tried to assassinate Scalise. The doctor told Trump how grave the situation was, and it moved Trump to realize how dangerous is the violence on the Left.

Mark said this current violence is all in one family: the Democratic Party. AntiFa and the Resistance are today's Democrats. White Supremacists and the KKK were yesterday's Democrats.

The terror attack in Barcelona involved a terror cell of at least a dozen people. They actually planned to blow up the vehicle. One Spanish policeman killed four of the terrorists. Fifteen people have now died from being hit by the vehicle. It could have been a much larger number if they had been able to execute their plan with the explosives.

Representative Louis Gohmert was a guest on the program. He had a very good conversation with Mark. Gohmert believes Obama set race relations back 40 or 50 years.

Dinesh D'Souza was the last guest. He has written a book entitled, The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left.
