Hurricane Harvey was about to hit landfall as Tucker Carlson's excellent show ended tonight. It is now Category 4, which means uprooted trees, houses without exterior walls, winds of 135 to 150 mph. They expect at least five days of rain, topping four feet in places! $40 billion worth of damage is expected. One-half of oil refineries have been shut down, as well as all natural gas. Catastrophic flooding is expected. It is the most powerful storm since 1961!
Trump pardoned Sheriff Arpaio! "Sheriff Joe" had disregarded a court order in which he had been ordered to stop detaining illegal immigrants.
Colin Kaepernick, who had collected $39 million, opted out of his contract, but no other NFL team has picked him up. The Georgia branch of the NAACP is protesting the fact that none of the 32 teams want him. You may remember him taking a knee last year in disrespect of our national anthem. 70 percent of NFL players are black even though blacks are less than 15 percent of America's population.

I admire Tucker for his reporting on the Leftist group Southern Poverty Law Center. SPLC is being sued by a Florida Christian group alleging SPLC defamation for labeling the group a hate group because it has opposed gay marriage. Dr. Frank Wright of the group describes SPLC as loathsome, deeply dishonest, fallacious.
Dana Rohrabacher is a Congressman from Orange County, California who has been libeled by Leftist groups because he is collaborating with Russia to coordinate anti-Jihad efforts in his role as chairman of a House committee.
The mayor of San Francisco and Nancy Pelosi have succeeded in getting a Patriot Prayer group to cancel a free speech prayer rally in San Francisco. An organizer of the event, Joey Gibson, was a guest on the program. He said the event was to promote love, peace, and letting go of politics. AntiFa was planning to protest the event, so Gibson and friends canceled the event so as not to give Pelosi and the mayor the pleasure of allowing AntiFa thugs to do their violent thing.
