Free speech, Nazi Roots of the American Left, North Korea and Trump

Rush had a jam-packed show today. First, he talked about the destruction of free speech at our universities and Google. The loss of liberty and freedom always comes under the guise of goodness, fairness, decency. Under the guise of not offending.

Dinesh D'Souza has written a book entitled The Big Lie, Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left. He hopes to have it in the movie theaters a year from September, in hopes of influencing the 2018 elections. It also looks at militant Islam's ties to Nazism. There are three major points in the book. First, Hitler got the idea of resettling Germans throughout Europe from Jacksonian Democrats moving Native Americans out of the way. Second, the way Democrats treated African Americans inspired Hitler with ways to deal with people he didn't like. Third, Eugenicists like Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, gave Hitler ideas of the way to treat disabled and sick Germans, and then, the Final Solution.

Lastly, Rush discussed North Korea. He remembered having to hide under school classroom desks as an eight-year-old. His mom called him a "smart alec" because he ridiculed the idea that somehow hiding under a desk would keep kids safe from a nuclear explosion.

What started all this current discussion about nuclear bombs? The Washington Post printed a breathless story about North Korea possessing miniaturized nuclear warheads. The Defense Intelligence Agency actually reported that in 2013! So why is it such a big story now? Because Donald Trump is President. It was not reported or discussed when Obama was still president. After all, Obama was erudite, sophisticated, unable to do anything wrong.
