Synthetic pot "outbreak"

Colorado is experiencing something new: synthetic pot cases. There is an "outbreak," according to public health officials. The pot comes in little packages. The pot is ground into something that looks like sand or dried herbs. Symptoms include psychotic episodes, seizures, difficulty breathing, nausea and vomiting. There is an "undisclosed chemical mix sprayed on the pot. Users have been jumping off ledges or into traffic, and lashing out at emergency responders and hospital personnel. At least 40 patients have shown up at metro Denver hospitals because of sickness in the last two weeks. The story was broken by Channel 7 t.v. news, with additional information reported on page two of this morning's Denver Post.
