Did you have an imaginary companion (or two or three) when you were little? I did, but I can't remember much about them now. My daughter Sara has always had that ability. Now she studies the chickens on the farm and attributes almost human characteristics to them. She interacts and converses with them for long periods of time, just as she used to do with her dolls.
People who have had those experiences as young children may find it easier than others to come to believe in God.
