Wise beyond his years, and unlike anyone you'll ever meet

Have you ever noticed when reading a newspaper (you do remember newspapers?) that often the best writers are on the sports pages?

Joe Posnanski writes a beautiful piece today about Tim Duncan. Duncan, at age 37, is the most fundamentally sound basketball player to ever play the game. Don't believe me? Here are his stats, which basically do not change from year-to-year. In 2002-2003: 21.3 points, 11.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.7 blocks, 0.6 steals.

He was voted MVP of the NBA, and the Spurs won their second championship.

2012-2013: 21.3 points, 11.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 3.2 blocks, 0.9 steals.

But Posnanski writes about Duncan the person, as much as Duncan the basketball player. I highly recommend you read it here.
