"Very toxic to aquatic organisms"

There is something new in the world of cigarettes! Young people are especially curious about the new high-tech sounding activity. Being the children of the internet age, they wonder if this might be for them: electronic cigarettes!  At the store where I work there is an advertising poster of a guy relaxing in a chair smoking a Mistic electronic cigarette. The caption says in all capital letters "WHAT ALL HAVE YOU MIST?" Get it? Mistic...MIST?

However, as a public service to my readers, I have squinted my eyes to read the small print on a pack of Mistics. Here is what it says: "Not for use by children, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or persons at risk for heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or taking medication for depression or asthma.

Mystic products are not a smoking cessation product, and have not been tested as such. This product has not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other international health or regulatory agency. Mystic products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, disorder, disease, or physical or mental condition.

Mystic products contain nicotine, a chemical known to the state of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. Nicotine is addictive and habit-forming, and it is very toxic by inhalation, in contact with the skin, or, if swallowed, danger of serious damage to health by prolonged exposure if swallowed, irritating to eyes and skin; may cause sensitization by skin contact; may cause harm to the unborn child, vapors may cause drowsiness or dizziness; very toxic; very toxic to aquatic organisms; may cause long term adverse effects in the aquatic environment, ingestion of the non-vaporized concentrated ingredients in the cartridges can be poisonous. After contact with skin wash immediately with plenty of water, and seek medical advice; in case of accident, or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label when possible). This material and its container must be disposed of in a safe way; use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN: choking and ingestion hazard."

How is that for a primer on the use of commas and semi-colons? And, oh, by the way, maybe it is a good thing, after all, that you have missed Mistics!
