He is referring to the news story out of Germany in which a man cut off his wife's head in front of their six children, cutting of her body parts as the horrified children watched.

Woman marries herself in ceremony
On his website Anderson Cooper has two videos of an interview he had on his show. He interviews a woman who married herself in a ceremony in March. His cameras followed her on a "date night" at an Indian restaurant, but Anderson was glad the cameras did not follow her into her candle-lit bath at the end of the night. Many thanks to Brutally Honest for posting this video of President Bush and Laura graciously thanking the White House staff at the unveiling of their portraits. As Bush said, the portraits there now have a symmetry. The first portrait is of another George W., and the last portrait is of George W. Bush. He suggested to Obama that as he wanders around the halls at night and comes to the portrait of George W. Bush, he can ask, "What would George do?" I love that self-deprecating humor.

Exploring Obama's ties to Ayres
Breitbart has uncovered the fact that Obama attended a July 4 2005 party at the home of terrorists Bill Ayres and Bernadine Dohrn. It has also uncovered the fact that Obama, as a member of three boards in Chicago helped funnel three million dollars to Ayres and his brother. Breitbart concludes, "Ayers methods have certainly changed since the 60s, but his commitment
to bringing down the American system has been a constant throughout his
life. Therefore, it's fair to ask what Obama saw in Ayers, the committed

Obama's literary agency featured a bio of Obama in 1991 that said he was born in Kenya. Obama surely must have looked at that bio once or twice, wouldn't you think? But he did not delete it until two months after he announced his run for the presidency in 2007!
Donald Trump raised the issue yesterday: "He didn’t know he was running for president, so he told the truth,” Trump said about Obama’s birthplace, basing his assertion on a literary biography written for Obama that was recently unearthed by Breitbart.com. “The literary agent wrote down what he said… He said he was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia… Now they’re saying it was a mistake. Just like his Kenyan grandmother said he was born in Kenya, and she pointed down the road to the hospital, and after people started screaming at her she said, ‘Oh, I mean Hawaii.’ Give me a break.”

The big political event Tuesday is the recall election in Wisconsin. How will the media play the results? More Muslim violence
Jihadist Muslims continue to kill Christians and Jews. This morning in Nigeria a suicide car bomber drove into a church, killing fifteen people. A Muslim mob killed three Jewish children in France, beating them with hammers and iron bars. That brings the total to 140 violent acts committed against Jews since the mass murder this year of Jews by Jihadist Muhammed Merah. Fearing blasphemy laws, the media refers to the killers by geography: "Asian" or "North African," or, in the U.S., by nationality. In Sweden an Iranian man recently cut off his wife's lips and ate them, because he believed she was having an affair.

Detecting dark matter
Scientists are still trying to discover the origins of the universe. The latest attempt will be soon in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The old Homestake Gold Mine has been turned into a lab to do experiments in dark matter. They will be using a dark matter detector. Why? "Regular matter—people and planets, for
example—make up about 4 percent of the total mass-energy of the
universe. Scientists estimate that dark matter makes up about 25
percent." If they can detect the dark matter, "it could explain why the universe isn't made
up equally of matter and antimatter. That, in turn, could explain how
the world as we know it came to be."
"Dark matter is too sensitive to detect in normal laboratories, but one so far underground would help shield it from pesky cosmic radiation. Also, the LUX detector is submerged in water, further insulating it."
