At this point, the evidence looks pretty strong that having healthy n Instapundit, Vitamin D levels reduces both the likelihood of being infected, and the severity of any infection. Given that Vitamin D is cheap and safe, I don’t understand why governments everywhere aren’t recommending it as strongly as they’re recommending, say, masks.

Truth is it never should have been funded. It was born of the naive belief that throwing all the nations of the world together — the dictatorships and the free nations, the sane and the insane — would result in any kind of peaceful resolution of the world’s problems. Some very smart people fell for this. But the experiment sadly failed to defy logic. And we’ve known that for a long, long, long time.
