That’s why, in a little town of around 10,000 people, the whole town dies when a factory employing only a few hundred closes. The employment multiplier is what keeps it all going. That manufacturing payroll circulates through a town’s economy day after day, year after year, and keeps the town alive. Manufacturing is the lifeblood of a community.
By the way, look at vehicle manufacturing, line 80. A multiplier over 14 !!! Get why car plants are so important?

Having John Roberts presiding over this is like having Trump-hating George W Bush preside. Bush showed his true colors and Roberts is his clone. Bush picked Roberts and Roberts now is loyal to the Bush mindset on Trump. Bush never challenged anything Obama said or did, Roberts got in line and let Obamacare go through. Two peas in a pod.

At this point reality and logic doesn’t matter, only power. Those in power are not and do not have to acknowledge reality because they have the power to define it.
If those in power say that Trump ate babies and tortured old people therefore we are removing him as president, who would stop them? The media would go along, most of the Federal government would go along. They would proceed as though it were all true.
I’m not advocating for any specific action but I think it is important that we recognize how those in power are operating.
