Impeachment

Let's see what impeachment talk brings out in Instapundit's commenters.

First the high profile flub on Russian Collusion after years of minor botches like Chesty McDaniels and now the Dems have put all their chips on one spin of the wheel. But recently the Dems have staggered from one crushing screw-up to the next; they are a party of narcissistic bunglers whose immunity from media criticism has given then the false impression that they never make a mistake.
A bad position to be in against a wily and unconventional opponent whom they obviously have misunderstood from Day One.

The House of Representatives must initially commence impeachment.
Members of the House vote on this action, and if approved, it moves to the Senate.

The Senate will then carry out a trial to determine the final acquittal or impeachment of individual in question.

The Senate acts as the jury in that it decides whether the accused is guilty or not guilty. A two-thirds majority is necessary for conviction.
