"A fine young man?"

So now it's time for journalists to tell us about the man who killed three people in Yountsville. Cissy Sherr, the woman who raised him with her husband, became his legal guardian after his father died. So that means that prior to that his father had been raising him. Where was his mother?

Sherr said she was still struggling to understand what happened.

"He loved computers and he liked music. He was thoughtful and independent," Sherr said. "He didn't have a traditional upbringing but still he became a fine young man."
