Betsy DeVos is the new Secretary of Education! The Senate voted 50-50, and Vice President Mike Pence cast the deciding vote. The announcement came from AFP, which I believe is a Twitter "news" agency. AFP characterized DeVos as someone who wants to use taxpayer money to fund private schools. When I Googled AFP it took me to Twitter. Of course, DeVos is all about giving parents choices, as to where they want their children to be educated. She is for competition.
