Tonight at the gym I did what I always do: turned the channel on the t.v. set to Fox News. The only place I ever watch t.v. is at the gym, and even then it is on closed caption with the volume off. Fox had only one story: today's shootings at a free speech event in Copenhagen in which one person was killed and three were injured. Later they added a second event: three people being shot at a synagogue in Copenhagen, one of whom died. The caption: "Police don't know if the events were related. The shooter has not yet been captured."
If this were Nigeria, instead of Denmark, hundreds would have been slaughtered by Boko Haram, and the coverage would have been maybe five minutes, instead of the full hour given to these events in Denmark. Why?
