How cold is it?

Drudge links to a story about a convict in Kentucky who escaped from a minimum security prison in Lexington on Sunday. Then, when he found out how cold it was, he walked into a motel and asked the clerk to call the cops. The fire department treated him for hyperthermia. It had gotten down to 20 below zero wind chill. He was returned to the prison Monday evening.

The prisoner's name is Robert Vick. Breitbart reports,

Vick was serving a six-year sentence for burglary and criminal possession of a forged instrument at the time of the escape from Blackburn Correctional Center.
