My working class stepsons

My stepsons were not into the public school thing. Thomas is the older. He will be 23 in August. He asked to be homeschooled after achieving honor roll status in middle school. Erik is the younger. He opted for technical high school.

Thomas got licensed to become an over-the-road long haul trucker. He did that for a while, but now he is doing something very unique. He drives and operates a mobile grocery store, bringing food to Indian reservations throughout New Mexico. The project is funded by Johns Hopkins University.

Erik, now 21, got his diesel certification, and recently got a significant upgrade in employment.

If both young men can stay away from addictions, they will earn very good incomes, be good husbands and fathers. I am very proud of them both.
